I Love Failure

It is essential, day by day,
to remain responsible
for our actions and decisions,
accepting our faults
without assigning blame

The Good Pride

I constantly repeat to my kids “the most important thing that you have is your pride and no one can take it away from you.”

When I use the word “pride” I do not use it as arrogance, which is a sign of ‘superiority,’ of self-importance − the bad-pride.

I use it for self-esteem, self-respect and self-confidence; as the consciousness of one's own dignity − the good-pride!

Yes, I believe that having a pride is important.. But we should have not too much of it. Sometimes, having too much pride doesn't bring us any good because it keeps us away from people we love. When there is pride all over the environment, it seems like we will not have a good relationship with other people because we always think that we have all the rights to feel that way. But the truth is, it's not ad we need to be grounded at some situations.

Who I am today as a person is largely due to my failures!
Failures are the speed bumps in life that matter!  They are not regrets but small disappointments that wake up the strength within us! Failures are the process of learning and improving!  Without failures we simply are at a status quo!
