I Love Failure

It is essential, day by day,
to remain responsible
for our actions and decisions,
accepting our faults
without assigning blame

Afraid but Excited

Yesterday I was dropping my 17 year old daughter at the airport; she was getting ready to embark on a 3 week adventure. Before saying our goodbyes she made a comment: “I am afraid, but excited”

Wow, what a great statement! If you read between the lines you would understand what she is really saying: “I am intimidated, but eager and very enthusiastic!”

This statement should be my proclamation for life:
  • I decided to design and create my life!  A life full of experiences by doing something that I was passionate about and that motivates me; this life is far better than sitting, waiting, and wishing!

So today and everyday, do something that moves you; bend the rules, and always feel exhilarated about trying something new.

“Life is short, break the rules. Forgive quickly, kiss slowly, love truly, laugh uncontrollably and never regret anything that makes you smile.” - Mark Twain

As I walking past Oxford Street tube station the other day, a homeless man sat on the ground, just inside the entrance sobbing. Loudly. Because of where he was sitting, the sound of his sobbing was magnified and made even louder.

While someone can look attractive, it doesn't mean they feel attractive or that their self image matches up with how they look. In this case, the impression that they have on others doesn't match up with what is taking place within them.

Who I am today as a person is largely due to my failures!
Failures are the speed bumps in life that matter!  They are not regrets but small disappointments that wake up the strength within us! Failures are the process of learning and improving!  Without failures we simply are at a status quo!

"success is built on many failures..."
